Varelse or Raman?(2009)
I would describe the 2009 RPM album as an omage of the Ender Wiggin universe. 'Ender's Game' is the first book in a series that was given to me a few years ago by human soundtrack bandmate Steven Haley. I read it and it really sparked my reading interest for pretty much the first time in my life. So I felt it was a good idea to write an album about many of the characters, victories, and themes in the novel(s). As for the music itself, it's a mixture of mandolin, acoustic guitar, bass, harmonica, melodica and keys all looped together using a loop station. Real folky! And yes, I'm a big fan of loops!
